Use of University Marks, Identities and Content

Marks and Identifiers Statement
The Curators of the University of Missouri, as the statutory corporation having superintendence over the University of Missouri-Columbia, owns rights to certain trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade dress, uniform designs, seals, emblems and other identifiers (both registered and unregistered) (“University of Missouri Trademarks and Identifiers”). These University of Missouri Trademarks and Identifiers include, but are not limited to, the following marks employed by the university on its webpages, social media assets, buildings, promotions and signage with respect to certain goods and services:
a) the word MISSOURI;
b) the words UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI;
c) the word MIZZOU;
d) logos and designs featuring the University of Missouri Tiger (a/k/a, the Tiger Design Mark); and
e) the letters “M” and “U,” in standard character form and in stylized design form.
The content appearing on the pages of this website (“Content”) is owned or licensed by the Curators of the University of Missouri for the benefit of the University of Missouri.
No person, company or organization may use University of Missouri Trademarks and Identifiers or Content without the express written consent of the Curators of the University of Missouri or, in the case of products, the Collegiate Licensing Company, LLC, the university’s licensee.
To request permission to use any of the University Trademarks and Indicators or any Content, you must contact the University of Missouri Licensing and Brand Management office at 573-882-7256 or licensing@missouri.edu. If permission is granted, any permitted use will be subject to an applicable license and the policies and guidelines found in the following resources:
